Fred and Jane Bolgen opened The Framer’s Gallery on September 1, 2003 in beautiful downtown Georgetown, Texas. They picked Georgetown after a lot of searching. Although they don’t live there, they liked it for its quaint, old town atmosphere, and the high interest in the arts by its people.
Fred has a long history in the art world. He is an artist himself, and opened his first art gallery and frame shop almost 40 years ago. His skill and experience in custom framing pairs with his passion for both the visual and performing arts. Fred’s goal is to make art accessible to all people. The Framer’s Gallery is committed to creating an inviting, unpretentious space to view the works of local talent. This presents an opportunity to learn about art while providing a uniquely personal custom frame service which is affordable and unparallel in Central Texas.
